Mathematike Syntaxis or "Mathematical Treatise" is the original Greek version of a book later translated into Arabic as al-Kitabu al-Majisti, and thence into Latin as Libri Almagesti. It was written in the second century AD by the Alexandrian philosopher and mathematician Klaúdios Ptolemaîos. This work (in Greek) is a tractatus on Artes Liberales with a Quality of 13.
