Translation[]

What is the translation of the title? IMHO 21:37, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

Roughly, "Magical Thought". Cereth 14:12, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm. The sententia certainly works. Given what it's about, the term "way of thinking" could be more precise, but would not necessarily be the choice that even educated magi would use. Magus, however, is clearly a person, whether merely "wise one"; magician, sorceror, or whatnot; or both, such as the English wizard. Of course, if you know the proper nomative form (I imagine magum, but that's the easiest way), it could translate to way of thinking of the wizard, or to modern thinking, thought processes of the wizard, which would work for a magic theory text as well.
Anyway, the main reason I bring it up is that a translation, or a "roughly meaning" worked into the first sentence would be good for this piece as an article. Though I give some of my thoughts on how the translations would work, it is your invention so I'll leave my input on the talk page. IMHO 01:50, September 5, 2009 (UTC)
